NGC 6559 is a star-forming region in the Sagittarius constellation. It is also known as the Loreta Nebula and the Chinese Dragon. NGC 6559 forms the Sagittarius Triplet along with the Trifid Nebula (M20) and the Lagoon Nebula (M8).
